Q: I can't remember my username.
A: You should always make a note of your chosen username so you don't forget it. Please contact support. We can't make any guarantees that we will be able to help you in these situations.

Q: I can't log into the website.
A: Are you sure you entered your username and password correctly? Our website requires that your browser accepts cookies, and will not work otherwise.

Q: Someone hacked into my account!
A: Contact us immediately with as much information as you can. We need to make sure that you are actually the original owner of the account. To avoid situations like these, use a password that combines upper- and lowercase letters, along with numbers. Avoid passwords based on words or names at all cost! "b9xo5anl" is a good password. "B9xo5AnL" is better. "cake" is not.

Q: Somebody logged into my account and did something that got me banned. Please unban me!
A: You are ultimately responsible for your own user account. If you are on a computer that several people have access to, you need to make sure that you log out of your account before leaving the computer. We generally can't help you in these cases, but you may still contact us.

Q: Do I need an internet connection to use BattlePawn?
A: Yes, you need an active internet connection both to download and to play games via BattlePawn. The reason for this is that BattlePawn is designed for multiplayer and the game rules are kept on the servers, reducing the need for frequent game patches. Please refer to the system requirements.

Q: Do I need to own the original boardgames to play the online versions?
A: No, you don't need the original boardgames. Our boardgame conversions are fully self-sufficient. Of course, we really recommend getting the originals anyway for those evenings with local friends and family. You can find links to the original boardgames from each product page on this site.

Q: When will Descent be released?
A: Sadly, Descent has been canceled and will no longer be released by Board Games Online.
